About Us

For over six decades, Dunnington Sports Club has been a cornerstone of the local community, offering a space for both sports and social gatherings. Over time, it has transformed into a Social Enterprise, delivering a range of high-quality sports activities, spacious meeting and function rooms, as well as a thriving bar and catering service.

The Playing Fields Association (PFA) serves as the governing body and sole shareholder of Dunnington Sports Club LTD, a non-profit organization. The PFA is also a registered charity.

While each sporting section operates independently, they regularly report to the PFA.

Significant constitutional changes in 2010 propelled the Sports Club further into the community, forging partnerships with the City of York Council, local schools, and the business sector. The Club’s mission is to be a vibrant, dynamic venue that meets the evolving sports, leisure, and business needs.
